About the Artist
Sarah is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, where she received a BFA in jewelry. During her time at SCAD, Sarah has figured out that she is best, and happiest, working hands on. In her free time you can find her enjoying large cups of coffee, having dinner with great friends, or sitting at the bench making jewelry.
Growing up in the small town suburbs of Pennsylvania, Sarah spent her childhood taking dance lessons. For those fifteen years she learned about discipline, the body, movement and grace, all of which drive her as an artist and directly translate into her work today. Sarah pulls inspiration from her surroundings, learning from what people have done in the past as well as are doing in the present, and problem solving to turn those inspirations into something new. She often says, “At the end of the day, if I have created something beautiful, I hope that it can bring someone else, somewhere else, a little inspiration of their own.”
